Mobile Healthcare Clinic

In late 2016, we began the Mobile Clinic with a group of 5 volunteer doctors, and nurses and treated approximately 700 patients in 4 Rural communities every 3 months. Our Volunteer are dedicated to save lives of many living in the rural areas where there are no Hospitals and Clinics. Due to the lack of hospitals, and clinics in many parts of the country, sudden death have been destroyed families. The death toll is raising from undiagnosed diseases, pregnancy complications and child malnutrition. Regular checkup has been performed by our Staff for Diabetes, Blood Pressure, Vision, Heart Disease, HIV, and many more. Since 2017 FBF Medical Staff have treated more than 1,000 patients every 3 months. More lives could have been saved if we had the right equipment, better transportation, Medicines and Funds. We are also in great need of at least 3 hospital beds, 2 consultation tables, and medicines.

Rural sections of Haiti have an even greater need for the Mobile Clinic due to rapidly growing mortality rates caused by undiagnosed diseases and lack of health facilities.

COMMUNITY LEADER TRAINING

Our doctors and nurses from the Mobile Clinic, train community leaders to provide primary and preventive care to communities. Trained community leaders are able to recognize the need for treatment and recommend treatment by our trained staff. The Staff has treated adults and children for a variety of infectious diseases.

IN GREAT NEED OF A HEALTH VAN FOR OUR TEAM AND EQUIPMENT

Public transportation is causing serious problems in the proper delivery of services.  Having our own transportation will help carry heavy equipment, provide shorter wait times to receive treatment, and transport patients that need emergency surgeries.   Donate now to make the mobile clinic van a reality.
