Building Family Foundation - Volunteer Openings
Fondasyon Bati Fanmy-Building Family Foundation is dedicated to giving Haiti a better future by raising Haiti’s literacy rate and building resilient young men, women and families through skills-development programs. The Foundation is recruiting volunteers to help the organization increase its visibility and enhance its services. The following positions are available and open to anyone with a positive attitude and readiness to be part of our team.
Manager of Fundraising and Membership
Organize Fundraising Campaigns. Identify donors within the private sector and nonprofit organizations. Increase awareness of the Foundation’s work and projects. Encourage and motivate people to donate by demonstrating the organization’s ability to effectively use their contributions to meet the Foundation’s goals.
Mnager of Events
Help develop and coordinate events and ensure they meet participant expectations.
Develop social activities to provide services to those in need. Encourage and guide young leaders to take action in their community and create positions for them to help in the organization. Maintain relationships with people in the community and businesses. Develop and implement initiatives to increase the organization’s visibility.
Manager of Academic Education.
This position will require travel at the beginning of each Semester. Individual must be proficient in French and Creole. Job Responsibilities: Recruit and evaluate Teachers for appropriate classes. Develop educational processes and policies to meet curriculum goals. Develop special and interactive educational programs and courses for students. Meet regularly with teachers on site and remotely on the phone or Via Skype.
Help prepare student’s report cards and attendance records. Order and maintain inventory of school supplies.
Director of Professional Development.
Recruit volunteer individuals and organizations for appropriate professional development for staff training and the people that we serve here and abroad.
Director Public Relations
Innovate new forms of communication to promote and create a positive image of the Foundation. Network with individuals, businesses, and organizations to build partnerships and maintain relationships to help the organization achieve its objectives.
